Description : Unlike most sample-based VST libraries, Pianotek uses physical modeling technology, that is, it is on a par with wind instruments from Sample Modeling , bass guitars from IK Multimedia (MODO BASS) and instruments from Applied Acoustics Systems . Thanks to this approach to design, Pianotek is very small (about 50 MB), while there is no reason to doubt the sound quality – the sound quality of the plugin is noted by representatives of Steinway, whose instruments served as the basis for the Pianoteka engine. Here everything that characterizes a real piano: mechanical noises (optional), complex sound of pedals and strings in interaction, the impact of beats on staccato play (short notes), and, of course, most importantly, the beauty of piano sound. Notes are actually played (“created” on the fly in real time, like in a real piano), and not just read from disk or memory. This explains why the sound is lively and not static: it’s not a simple recording, it’s a genuine instrument that responds to the finest interpretations of a pianist, without having to store gigabytes of data, because he only needs a modern processor to compute all sounds in real time. Pianotek offers a whole collection of amazingly live instruments: pianos, pianos, percussion keyboards, such as cymbals, clavichords and harpsichord, electro-acoustic and electric pianos, chromatic percussion and others:
