In this course, music industry veteran and synthesizer designer Chris Meyer, to teach you how to make modular synthesizer patches so that you create your own sounds, uses the Arturia Modular V program – a realistic emulation of the original Moog modular synthesizer – 60s and 70- x years last century. Chris begins with the basics of how harmonics and sound work, as well as how to connect modules together. Further, he individually considers the main modules, explaining the differences between the forms of waveforms, types of filters and further, he shows how to use them in a musical context. The third part describes advanced approaches such as frequency and amplitude modulations, as well as how to use effects and advanced filters in Modular V from Arturia.
