Garritan – Stradivari Solo Violin 2.0 (Kontakt)

By | April 4, 2017

The new version of the solo violin Stradivari Solo Violin integrates directly into the sample player Native Instrument Kontakt 2-3-4 which can be used in audio / MIDI sequencers on Macintosh and PC that support the format of VST, DX, RTAS and Audio Units 32 and 64 bit Versions (3.5-4). Also Solo Violin 2.0 can be used in music score editing programs for playing a solo violin part.

The new version offers new samples, united in the category Lyrical: they have a more complete, gentle and dramatic timbre than previously presented samples of Classic. Thus, the user can choose one of the two sound options in accordance with their tasks. The new version also improved performance and stability, which made it possible to simultaneously use more tools. Also important are such important (especially for violin) functions, like legato and transition between notes, changing the direction of bow

movement, sustain, pizzicato, etc.
Thanks to the use of Sonic Morphing technology, the virtual Stradivari violin allows you to smoothly move from the quietest passages to the loudest ones (from pp to ff), constantly manage the vibrato parameters and change the articulation in real time.

Here are the 1st and 2nd violin, they differ in sound. The versions of patches 1.0.8 and 2.0.1 have prefkes 1 and 2 in the file name.

Attention! In order for the violins to work, you need to add a directory to Kontakt (via Add library).
