Description : Celemony Software, a famous Munich company, has released a new version of Capstan, a program designed for professional restoration of sound recordings. Previously, the program analyzed only one audio file, but the new version makes it possible to remove a detonation of the same nature from an unlimited number of sound files.
The ability to transfer detonation correction settings from a mono or stereo file to other files has been added, thereby allowing you to delete identical detonation from a multi-track recording. This new feature is organically integrated into the Capstan interface and there are no restrictions on the number of files that can be restored in this way.
The Capstan program is based on DNA (Direct Note Access, i.e. direct access to the note) technology patented by Celemony and provides the ability to remove detonation in recording music regardless of media (tape, vinyl, etc.). In this, the program is superior to other solutions based on bias analysis, as the Capstan works even if the tape has been copied several times or digitized with a low resolution.
The Capstan program has already shown its effectiveness in saving many valuable recordings, and among its users are well-known recording and mastering studios, as well as a number of major broadcasters.
