Description : Lapalux, the pseudonym of the English producer Stuart Howard, creates a set of patterns, seemingly torn from a strange valley. The ghostly textures of the glitch and industrial sounds flutter and sway with insolence, causing a dizzying effect, and yet, like a ray of light peering out from a storm, a synthesizer, melody and harmony envelop its recordings in lush, dreamlike states. His sample package likewise focuses on this complete dichotomy line, created entirely using Elektron’s proprietary suite of equipment, including the painful, rich percussion of the Analog Rytm drum machine.
