Polly Louise doesn’t like to categorize her music into genres or styles. It’s a mixture of her tastes and listening habits. She told us: “My music is literally based on the real algorithm of what I’m doing at the time and what’s going on in my head. I listen mostly to my dad’s rock like Squeeze, Supertramp and Madness, and 2005 British indie music with a dose of ABBA, Queen and Nirvana, but when I go out I listen to Scooter or Pitbull while I’m getting ready. I have to somehow create my own little version of hyperpop that you will hear in my music.”
