It was built for the First Presbyterian Church of Orrville, Ohio in 1963 by the venerable Schantz Organ Company.
Boasting a robust and powerful sound, it is a far more complex and powerful instrument than you would typically expect to find in a small country church such as this, allowing the sound to completely fill the space with epic presence and majestic tonal body.
However, all this can be explained by the fact that Shantz’s workshop is located just a mile away, in the same small town.
We recorded some of our favorite sustain and staccato articulations in two mic positions, as well as bells, simbelstern, pear and pedal sounds for maximum realism.
We’ve also included many custom effects patches and sound synth pads built from source code to make this library extremely playable and versatile. Whether you want to create big video game sounds, bold synth bass, or play straight out of a hymn book, Orrville has everything you need to get it done!
