KNOWN ISSUES/REMOVED
A SIMILAR ISSUE When Kontakt is launched from VS Code, logging of incoming KSP/API messages does not work (works when Kontakt is launched from Sublime Text).
REMOVED several entries in Options, which are now permanently enabled:
“Interface → Show display and switching of keys on the virtual keyboard.”
“Interface → Auto-update file browser.”
“Process → File Browser: Double-clicking an audio file loads the tool.”
How to install, questions, etc…
1) Run the Kontakt 7 7.8.0 Setup program on your computer.
2) Disable your antivirus and extract K7 Next Patcher.7z, then run Kontakt 7 Next Patcher as administrator.
(If you unchecked AAX or VST3 during installation, the patcher will tell you that it cannot find the file, just click the NO button).
Click the Patch button and wait until the green text DONE appears
in the lower left corner.
Can I install the latest version of Kontakt 7 over the previous version of Kontakt 7 (bobdule)?
YES! You can, just make sure you use the same location (default)..
Can Kontakt 6 or Kontakt 7 work side by side?
Yes! You can install both versions without any conflicts.
