Native Instruments – Kinetic Treats (KONTAKT)

By | April 26, 2017

Native Instruments has released Kinetic Treats – a new Kontakt instrument that creates evolving sounds and textures from a library of carefully sampled children’s toys. The instrument incorporates a unique 3D interface that enables high-level control of sonic parameters via the movements of a vintage music box and a tin robot.

Kinetic Treats is free to all NI newsletter subscribers until December 31.

Kinetic Treats is the brainchild of renowned sound designer Jeremiah Savage. In keeping with his previous Native Instruments creation Kinetic Metal, the instrument blends and mangles meticulously sampled sounds into rich, morphing textures which range from the instantly familiar to the unrecognisable.

To help producers expand their sonic arsenal even further, NI is offering all customers a $25 e-voucher for use in the company’s online store. In addition, one lucky prize draw winner will also receive a full suite of flagship NI hardware including Komplete 11 Ultimate, a Komplete kontrol S49 keyboard, and Maschine JAM.

Kinetic Treats, the e-voucher, and the prize draw are available exclusively via the NI website until December 31st. Kinetic Treats requires the latest version of either Kontakt 5 or the free Kontakt 5 player.
