Description : The Propeller Island Legendary M400 reproduces the original sounds of the Mellotron M400. Returning to the images of the 60s and recalling images, the library contains the original set of sounds that were available for each key of the instrument.
In fact, the Mellotron was the world’s first sample-playing keyboard. The instrument contained a set of tape strips, each with pre-recorded audio and approximately eight seconds of playback passed over the playback heads. Pressing a specific key allows the performer to play the pre-recorded sound assigned to that key.
