New acoustic drums included
The set brings fantastic new acoustic drum sounds to Groove Agent, including Pearl kick and snare, four Yamaha Maple custom drums, four Zildjian cymbals, Istanbul ride and Paiste splash, all recorded using high-quality Neumann microphones and outboard equipment at Teldex Studios in Berlin, including the classic reverb chamber. ‘The Kit’ comes with 47 articulations, five round robins and up to 20 speeds and most importantly a very versatile sound that can be used in any direction in your mix.
Over 30 new kits for EDM, Trap and more
All of the new kits have been created for Groove Agent 5 by top electronic artists including Rawtekk, Audeka, zKlang, Joe Ford and a number of other young and hungry producers. In addition to rhythm patterns, Beat Agent kits now also include samples such as basses, small melodic parts, various hits and other noises. Another great news is that now you can also use the Style Player for the Beat Agent.
Exciting new styles for songwriters
Groove Agent 5 contains 20 new MIDI styles for songwriters, including intro, outro, fills and various complexities. They cover a wide range of genres including rock, progressive rock, blues rock, alternative rock, indie, funk, soul, jazz, crossover and reggae, with each style performed by a top drummer and mixed exclusively for the set.
Sound design with decomposition
Decompose is a sound engineer’s dream! With it, you can load a sample and easily split it into tonal and noise components. Once you’ve done that, you can easily drag and drop every detail onto the Groove Agent pads to layer your drums, creating endless possibilities. Just imagine the combination of the powerful tone of 808 kick with the noise of 909 snare. Or an electronic trap with acoustic hi-hat noise.
Change the pitch of the samples
Create exciting new drum sounds by changing the sample’s pitch envelope. This is especially great for EDM music if you want to create drops and build-ups or if you want to adjust the pitch of pre-recorded drums. Combined with the new Decompose, you can also modulate the pitch and noise separately – a very unique approach to working with drum sounds.
