For example, you can add vinyl noise in order to create the illusion that the instrument you are using was sampled from vinyl. Add some magnetic tape noise to make it feel like your work was recorded on magnetic tape before tape emulators were invented.
Drum layers is a fantastic tool for building up the “meat” in your drum parts, as well as giving them a weighty sound density. By experimenting with different layers, you can give your drum parts more depth and the desired “atmosphere” of sound. Densify the lower Kick frequencies using tned sbs samples, or add transient layers to sharpen their presence in the mix.
This set of samples is a real treasure for the sound designer, because this set includes effects such as the sounds of steps on gravel, squeaks and crackle of plastic, the sounds of slamming doors and much more.
From myself: put on any drums, modulate the volume and you will get a raw sound of the 90s.
