Cinematic Studio Strings (or CSS) is a strings sample library for Kontakt and Kontakt Player 5.5, from the creators of the critically acclaimed library Cinematic Strings 2. CSS features the sound of a Hollywood-style string section seated in position, and is suited to a wide range of applications. Cinematic Studio Strings is the first product of the new full orchestral series: Cinematic Studio Series, which will feature the entire orchestra including piano (also out now), solo strings, brass, woodwind and percussion. CSS has true-to-life dynamics, a wide variety of articulations (listed below), and a realistic legato engine. It was recorded with a combination of ribbon and condenser microphones at three mic distances, which can all be controlled independently via the mixer on the GUI, which also features output routing options and reverb.
