Description: Room Keys: 4am Future RnB combines late soul with a smoky RnB aesthetic. Dull neon synths and shimmering guitars combine with distorted tonal vocals, lush chord progressions, and futuristic tonality. Created in collaboration with Arthouse Acoustics, we recorded live performances deep in the early hours to slice, resample and overdub a cocktail of late night love songs.
Carefully arranged and crafted melodies create an extensive collection of song starters and folded loops. Live guitars, classic Rhodes, unique vintage synth tones and ghostly voices have been processed with guitar pedals, cassette emulation and dusty reverbs. Drums and percussion include drum loops dripping in character, unique snare drums and live percussion shots.
