Format : KONTAKT 5.1+
Quality : 24 bit 44.1 kHz stereo

Description : GAK150 is a sampled analog synthesizer Gakken SX-150, passed through a tube Metasonix R-54 Tube VCO / VCF. The saturation of the lamp filter together with the very sharp and unstable Gakken tone is transmitted as an aggressive but completely analog sound. There are three configurations of waveforms: normal, fatter (more detune), and slowed (made by slowing down few samples).
GAK150 surprised us in a good way. Usually samples of analog synthesizers are only a limited alternative to the original, but this audio library from AudioThing clearly exceeds the capabilities of the Gakken SX-150 and has a rich in character and musicality a well-sounding analog instrument.
