Quality : 24 bit 44.1 kHz stereo

Description : We’ve been planning a pipe project for a while (our first recordings were back in 2012) but a lot of things kept us from making it until so far, namely the fact that we wanted to avoid the need for too many switches in favor of being able to simply control the airflow.
Thanks to our recent work on hybrid sample mixing and modeling technology, we have been able to overcome both of these challenges and take advantage of the best of both worlds: flawless, authentic sounding horns with a simple yet powerful way to play them.
Following Dr. Giorgio Tommasini and Samplemodeling’s original approach to harmonic alignment, we developed our own approach and named it HAT (Harmonic Alignment Technology). This technology allows you to accurately reproduce the evolution of the tone from very quiet to very loud playing.
We have found a way to combine both technologies, using samples as the sound source, and modeling techniques in the rest. This allows the V Horns to weigh in at only about 90MB per instrument (including retina graphics and presets) to truly sound like a real live horn instrument with all its flaws, as well as have a fully uninterrupted response with incredible playability.
And we’re sure we can say that to our ears, and hopefully yours too, VHorns is the most realistic and easy to use VST available today. Here are some live performances and what we recreated with VHorns (and used for our demos).

To work with the bank requires a UVI Falcon sampler

Installation :

1. Copy the library with the ufs extension wherever convenient, in the Falcon settings (preferences\soundbank) add the path to the library.
2. Copy the license file from the R2R folder with the R2RUVI extension to C:\ProgramData\UVI\R2R
