The York Audio YORK 212 DV77 Cab Pack is based on a custom York Audio 2×12 cabinet with Eminence DV-77 speakers. The tone is simply massive and balanced, with great character that balances between something new and something familiar. The bass is BIG and works like a 4×12 but with a 2×12 focus. The midrange is straightforward and balanced. And the highs have excellent pick attack and note clarity without the presence peak we hear in many modern speakers. Although the DV-77 is primarily seen as a down-tuned metal speaker, it also plays surprisingly well with mid-boost British tones and is great for 7-string and 6-string guitars.
