Description: Kayageme is a 12 string zither, a traditional Korean instrument from the 6th century. Our Gayageum sample library, produced by Vin Sound, contains three Kontakt patches and 1 GB of unique samples of this instrument. Each patch has an easy-to-use interface and a set of interactive controls that let you tailor the instrument’s sound to your liking. The solo patch has 36 expressive articulations that can be used to create precise, realistic performances. An ensemble patch contains the sound of two instruments layered together, and a reverse patch contains a set of sustain samples played in reverse, with controls that let you easily change the playback speed. Each of the three patches also has a set of micro tuning controls, allowing you to tune each note of the instrument individually. You can also use the preset menu to select from several traditional Korean tunings.
