For music producers or songwriters looking for instant inspiration, the Upright Piano is perfect for sounding 60s or 70s pop, but can equally be used for funk, soul, house, hip hop, lounge music. , ambient or even Latin music styles. Whatever the musical style, if you want to add the sound of real piano performance to your next piece, Upright Piano will bring exactly that atmosphere.
While a concert grand has its own musical space, there is nothing better than a piano sound for classical pop. Upright Piano, which is part of our Elastik instrument series, does just that. The emphasis here is on “character.” Performances old-school atmosphere of the 60s / 70s. Plus, you get authentic piano sound, including all the sonic details – hammer blows, pedals, and subtle tuning flaws that make it sound real. With a versatile collection of instantly usable musical phrases, the library provides the feel of a real piano in a real room.
The library contains over 2 GB of sample data and a total of over 800 loops and phrases. Each phrase is presented both raw (no effects) and processed. The processed versions add tape effects, spatial reverb and echo, analog-style EQ, compression and just a hint of noise to the vintage atmosphere. This gives the user either instant βready-to-useβ versions, or, using dry versions, full control by adding their own processing options.
Phrases are grouped by tempo into folders containing collections of musically related loops. The original recording rates are from 70 to 120 bpm. Loops are typically 4 measures long and recorded in major A / E and minor a / e. However, thanks to the consistent sounding of the entire collection of loops and Elastik’s powerful tempo matching and reconfiguring functions, it is incredibly easy to mix and match phrases from different folders and create a complete performance.
The Elastik player allows you to adapt loops to your current song project in terms of speed, fret and pitch. An intuitive browser manages all Elastik libraries for immediate access to all samples. Thus, you can combine not only loops from Upright Piano, but also from all installed Elastik libraries. With features such as resample, formant and reverse, as well as an efficient multi-mode filter, samples can be easily modified.
