The library is built from 10 GB of data and contains over 3800 individual loops, divided into sixteen folders. Each folder has several parts and many options. This way you can easily create a full drum sound. Performances were recorded at rates ranging from 60 to 140 beats per minute. Elastik’s high-quality tempo algorithms give you the added flexibility to find the perfect tempo for your project.
The loops are divided into six separate Elastik sound banks. The first contains loops of full drum mixes, and the other five contain all the multitrack loops from the same performances. The Drum Mix sound bank includes two different mixes – Processed and Dry – for each drum performance. The former contains a fully rendered stereo mix with effects and atmosphere and gives instant results. Dry mix also provides a fast workflow, but allows the user to add their own choice of reverb, etc.
Multitrack sound banks contain all multitrack loops for the same performances. Within each folder, a raw drum mix is provided along with separate loops for each microphone used in the recording process. These include both internal and boom mic for kick drum, upper and lower snare, hi-hat mic, multi-tom and cymbal mics, and boom and general microphones can be used to add natural ambience. Thus, the mutitrack versions give you complete control over the drum mix.
