Description : Zebra Quasar: Dark Edition – a collection of 140 sounds for u-he Zebra2, with 140 updated versions of these sounds for ZebraHZ; only 280 sounds.
Quasar focuses on electronic kinetic sounds inspired by classical analog synthesizers, as well as cutting-edge electronic instruments. The soundtrack originated during the work of the Portuguese composer Pedro Camacho on the soundtrack for the game “Star Citizen”. Pedro was looking for some modern synthesized sounds to add some electronic vibrations to his sparkling orchestral score. This meant an attempt to skip the ideas of Tangerine Dream and Vangelis through the prism of trance and techno, preserving the epic, sci-fi and kinetic atmosphere.
This collection of sounds is imbued with the inspiration I received from recent games such as Mirrors Edge: Catalyst, Quantum Break, The Division and even Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, in which I worked a little.
Gloomy, piercing basses and bass lines; atmospheric, expressive leads and keyboards; powerful, dynamic drums and drums; deep, colorful pads and soundscapes; drive, kinetic arpeggios and sequents.
