Description : Developed in collaboration with the specialist of vintage synthesizers Bigtone Studios, The Legend is intended to faithfully imitate one of the most famous vintage analog synthesizers. Moreover, numerous innovative enhancements significantly increase its versatility.
Each component, ranging from voltage controlled oscillators (VCO), voltage controlled filters (VCFs) and amplifiers (VCAs), was modeled with an accuracy never seen before in software. The loudness envelopes and the filter were carefully modeled — even the smallest effects, such as a change in temperature or an effect from a power source, were taken into account.
The most significant additions are unison and polyphonic mode, allowing the use of powerful stereo sounds, as well as the possibility of polyphonic playing. Built around a vector core, The Legend is capable of synthesizing four voices comparable in performance to a little more than one voice, which makes it a highly efficient analog simulation synthesizer.
The back panel of The Legend allows you to switch between two versions of the release, early and late. In addition, additional options allow you to fine-tune the analog simulation and take into account the tolerances for parts that are usually found in hardware. You can change the ranges of the main parameters, including tuning, drift and saturation.
Another pleasant addition to The Legend is the built-in effects, consisting of high-quality delay and reverb unit. Both effects are adapted to the synthesizer and offer only the right sound with only a few parameters.
The Legend includes 480 presets created by leading sound engineers, sorted into categories such as Bass, Lead, SFX, etc.
