Description : Petroglyph – a library of stone percussion, a recorded collection of authentic primitive stone artifacts from different tribes and cultures of North America pre-Columbian era, with some exhibits dating back thousands of years. They include the usual tools (mortars, pistils, grindstone, bowls, awl, hammers) and weapons (axes, spearheads and arrows) in all forms of shapes, sizes and types of stones. The objects are cut from obsidian, serpentine, slate, flint, graphite, sandstone, volcanic basalt and animal bones.
Sounds range from severe scratches and bumps to subtle, light strokes, clicks, clicks and ringing. We recorded 100 sound sets, each of which has from 8 to 10 RR variations for each layer of velocity. They can be used as unique alternatives to traditional manual and drum percussion, electronic percussion, sound effects and for voice recording of the user interface of games / software.
The user interface of our tool is equipped with flexible control functions such as attack, release, transient offset, dynamic swelling, filter type selection, resonant filter sweep and Arpeggiator, which provides a full range of customizable dynamic arpeggiation modes and options for creating a sequence of steps template. There is also a full set of DSP effects, including a convolution reverb with many unique spaces such as cathedrals, churches, halls, bunkers, garages, tunnels, cameras, rooms and a host of otherworldly FX impulses for an endless variety of strange and unexpected sound manipulations.
