Our main idea behind our new PatchVault series is to package the factory sounds of classic keyboards in a sleek yet powerful interface, allowing you to play them the way nature intended, or transform them into sounds of your own design. And put all that power in your hands.
Each PatchVault instrument contains a selection of sounds from a legendary synth of the past, while bringing over some important performance-oriented controls so you can really enjoy these patches. We’ve reproduced those gorgeous filtered sweeps and lush pads in all their glory, and we’ve even created some very useful controls missing from the originals – like cutoff speed and filter volume controls for truly expressive sounds.
The Jupiter 6 sound set is a wonderful collection of the rich analog tones of Roland’s wonderful dual-oscillator powerhouse. There are analog EPs, hefty basses, sweet soaring string sections, big bright brass ensembles, moody ambiences, and strange, unearthly alien noises – in other words, everything you’d hope to find in a serious studio workhorse like this. Whether you use them as is, tweak them slightly to suit your tracks, or use them purely as starting points for your own sounds, they’re guaranteed to bring classic polysynth to your sounds. You can even layer them on top of each other to create massive, complex sounds.
