Description : Since its release, Unfiltered Audio’s Sandman has hit engineers, mixers, designers, and DJs for his fragmentation and sliding functions. Delay plugin with a strong narcoleptic incline, Sandman uses the freezing mode of its delay buffer to create stunning loops and structures in which pitch can be changed, quality is reduced, reversed, polluted by noise and modulated, transforming and changing sounds beyond recognition! Using a very short delay time, the changing shape of the Sandman alternately becomes a flanger, stutter generator, wave synthesizer, or percussion resonator. But Sandman also succeeds in creating traditional ping-pong echo and stereo effects, providing latency times ranging from weak to longer.
The never-satisfied, insane testers from Unfiltered Audio raised the versatility of the Sandman by several levels. The new Sandman Pro adds seven new delay modes, each with its own set of adjustable controls that greatly expand its sound palette, while bringing the maximum delay time to a staggering 16 minutes. Use the Classic Tape mode to saturate the echo, loop and structure with a virtual saturation with tape, wow and vibration. Multi-Tap artifact-free mode gives you a whopping 16 simultaneous delay lines to refresh vocals and guitar solos with the effects of giant doubling and stadium-sized echoes! Use the ultra-smooth reverse mode to get a reverse echo without clicks. Unlike other dileys, you can modulate the delay time of Sandman Pro in Modern Instant mode without creating artifacts of sound tone — great for an accurate transition of vocal effects from doubling to echo tracks at the end of a phrase. Use dual monophonic Pitch Shifter mode to create vocal harmonics, classic twinkle effects, metallic textures and more. Or use the Glitch Shifter mode for a catchy pitch change that just sounds wrong! Modulate the Sleep button in No Echo mode for crazy stuttering and crashing effects. Sandman Pro may sound very clean or with severe deformation.
But that is not all. Sandman Pro includes the unfiltered Audio flagship modulation system, and from version 1.1 there are now eight different types of modulators, including a special mode for seamless integration with the ROLI Lightpad control panel. Each of the Sandman Pro controls can be automated using a freely assigned LFO from Uniltered. You can also modulate parameters with a full-fledged step sequencer – another new feature in v1.1
