Over the years, 00-21 have been popular with Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley and many others and have appeared on countless hit records. Our model, a pristine 1973 example, was used by a seasoned session pro and sampled using three different stereo mic settings for maximum versatility:
The Condenser (AB) mic uses two condenser microphones to produce natural stereo images for modern sound. The Dynamic (MS) uses a vintage dynamic microphone that captures ’70s rock and folk, complemented by a figure-eight tube condenser microphone for adjustable stereo width. And Ribbon (Blumlein) uses two ribbon microphones for a rich and warm vintage sound.
