Description : A collection of analog synthesizers
Retro Machines Mk2 is a collection of 16 analogue synths and keyboards sampled and enhanced for the world’s leading sampler Kontakt.
The collection covers classic, unique and exotic instruments that defined electronic pop music in the 70s and 80s. Today, the originals are hard to find, expensive and often fickle. So if you’d rather make music than worry about tweaking settings, here’s your vintage ticket. Retro Machines Mk2 gives you thick, rich analogue sound without the patches and with all the benefits of the latest software.

The interface provides consistent control over all functions, no matter what vintage monster you’re currently tweaking. Each preset reproduces the characteristic sounds of the original instruments, with eight built-in sound variations. Each variation is a ready-to-play synth sound, a specific combination of the OSC protocol, filters, amps, and other settings. Your settings are saved with each variation, and you can use the Morph slider to switch between variations for dynamic sounds.

The arpeggiator in Retro Machines Mk2 is a modern take on the arpeggiators found in the original machines. Choose between 16- or 12-step triplet mode and set the velocity at which each individual step plays. What’s more, you can assign different sounds to each step in a pattern – great for dynamic, expressive arpeggios.

Chord Player creates chords from individual notes, which is especially useful when combined with the arpeggiator. In Fixed Chord mode, set intervals and play chords by moving one finger up and down the keyboard. Turn off Fixed Chord, select a key template, and the chords you hear will automatically match the selected key, creating perfect, elegant harmony.
