Kaivo is a semi-modular software synthesizer that combines two powerful ways of creating sound: granular synthesis and physical modeling. Kaivo for the first time offers the latest research in the field of physical modeling. In mathematical terms, his time-domain finite-difference method based on sampling allows the user to “get inside the instrument” and influence the internal oscillations at any point. This allows you to obtain an accurate degree of realistic detail. And although Kaivo is able to create very realistic sounds, it is also designed to apply this feature to abstract creations. Kaivo has eight different types of tuned resonators, each with its own complex response to sound. In Kaivo, it is possible to create expansive spatial sounds with independent panning.
