Problems. Kingsway samples were recorded onto 1″ 30 IPS tape using a variety of rare vintage gear and instruments that the average beatmaker, producer and DJ do not have access to. As an avid record collector and former sample maker, Frank has a deep knowledge of what makes a great sample and what makes a cool beat. These samples were created with exceptional attention to detail specifically for beatmakers and producers. The Kingsway music library has been compiled and created with top-notch studio musicians, recorded with NEVE or NEVE equivalent preamps, and vintage microphones (some costing over $20,000). The recording and equipment used to create this unique library of music is also the same equipment used in the classic 60s psych, prog rock and soul music that people have been sampling since the dawn of hip-hop.
