LoFi’s nostalgia machine
Retronaut is a polyphonic vibrato and chorus with LoFi effects. It is inspired by old analog gear such as bucket brigade chips, tape cassettes, vinyl records and variable voltage filters.
Disperse
Move voices in a variety of ways to create organic and evolving movements. Distribute voices across the stereo field, gradually delay them, distort their phase, and even shift the LFO frequency for each independently.
Virtual Analog Filters
The plug-in has resonant high and low pass filters with 2 or 4 poles switchable to shape the tone of the effect. Filters can also be modulated with the LFO to give your sounds extra movement and fluidity.
Intelligent Silent Sleep
This plug-in intelligently determines whether it makes sense to perform processing at all. And if not, then it temporarily goes into sleep mode. In this state, almost no CPU is needed to conserve computing resources for other processes.
Chorus Vibrato
The multi-voice engine allows you to mix from one vibrato voice to 4, resulting in a rich chorus. The mix is constantly changing, so you can find sweet moments between voices.
More Than Modulation
The heart of the Retronaut is its modulation. However, you can return the “vibration” and use its other effects. Tape saturation sounds so good it could be a standalone plugin. Get that warm, hairy, compressed tape sound, then shape it with VA filters and blend it to perfection.

64-bit audio quality at any sample rate
The plugin delivers the highest audio quality you can get. It uses internal 64-bit audio processing and can handle any sample rate. 192 kHz or even higher.
Degrade
Retronaut adds the nostalgic magic of the past with many ways to age and degrade your music. Including warm mud and sand, wow and flutter, dusty creases and crackles and more.
Crosstalk to the Air
The feed controller sends the signal from each voice back to each other, creating a complex feedback network. Combine this with a lag to delay each voice and filters to dampen it for a juicy modulated reverb that sounds stunningly beautiful.
Realistic 3D yet flexible GUI
The plug-in’s photorealistic graphical user interface gives you the feeling that you are touching real hardware. But it easily adapts to your needs. You can always drag the arrow in the bottom right corner to resize it – shrink it to save valuable screen space, or make it bigger to make it easier to use.
Smart Bypass
The smart way our plugins manage bypass ensures that you don’t get any clicks or harmful noise when automating a parameter. It also compensates for latency by ensuring that bypass states are perfectly in sync with each other.
