AirWaves is a unique synthesizer that uses 24 XY Motion Sequencers to create sound collages using short-wave radio signals as a sound source. Short-wave radios are a strange world that has fascinated me since childhood, and for a long time I wanted to create an instrument like this. Sequencers of the movement ensure that you will always get something new using a lot of randomizers, and presets can have an organic long duration of “sound” life. Each sequencer can be recorded manually by pressing “Record”, playing a note and moving the corresponding XY controller. Once the sequence has been recorded, it will be immediately reproduced. Alternatively, there is a large database of such pre-installed sequences that are used by randomisers.
