Eliza Frawley is a New York-based violist who excels in performing and recording classical, contemporary and pop music. Her extensive performance history includes collaborations with numerous orchestras such as the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, American Ballet Theatre, American Symphony Orchestra, Albany Symphony Orchestra, New Haven Symphony Orchestra and Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic Orchestra. She is a co-founder of the contemporary chamber ensemble Atlantic Collective and is one half of a viola/piano duo with renowned pianist Nuno Marques. Eliza’s television appearances include Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, The Late Show, Live from Here, America’s Got Talent and the Amazon Prime show Mozart in the Jungle. Her collaborations in the music industry are no less impressive, having worked with artists such as Paul Simon, St. Vincent, Danger Mouse, Alessia Cara, and many more. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and New York University, where she also taught as an adjunct viola instructor, Elisa currently teaches at the 92nd Street Y, Trinity School, and the Killington Music Festival in Vermont.
