Vintage Horns 2 is a set of virtual instruments specifically designed to emulate the wind sound of the 60s and 70s, including such classic styles as Vintage Funk & Soul, Cool Jazz, Roadhouse R & B and Rock’n ‘Roll , Pop-Pop 60’s, Vintage Film Noir and Soul Jazz.

Like its best-selling predecessor, Vintage Horns, Vintage Horns 2 was not created to be perfect. Instead, our goal was to create a collection of brass and wind instruments that would convey the character of the 60’s and 70’s, including nuances and minor flaws that made them sound so good. Vintage Horns 2 is not just a remake of Vintage Horns, it’s a completely different library that includes additional tools. Inspiration for Vintage Horns 2 was played by the iconic styles of the game of such famous musicians as Maceo Parker, Miles Davis, Junior Walker, King Curtis, Stan Getz, Freddie Hubbard, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Herbie Mann, Zoot Sims and Gerry Mulligan.

To get the sounds, we studied the game styles of instruments, taking into account such things as tone, vibrato, types of instruments and special genre-specific articulations. The end result is a set of sampled winds with a real character and a product that, in our opinion, is not similar to any other similar one available today.
