Emotional Violin was recorded with a different musical context to capture the expressiveness and natural technique of using the bow of these instrumentalists. Contextual Sampling : Our philosophy at the time of recording was called Contextual Sampling. To find the perfect sound, several string instruments were recorded that were recorded over four years. We concluded that no technique comes close to a real and natural vibrato-trained musician. Of course, sampling a real vibrato has some conceptual flaws, but such recordings are always more inspiring and organic than adding an artificial vibrato. So our goal was to fully capture these musical aspects and combine them into a great sounding and easy to use instrument.

Recording process : Emotional Violin was recorded at Mastermix Studios in Munich in a room with wood panels with high ceilings and a large distance between the walls. For maximum flexibility, two Neumann KM184 and U87 microphones were used specifically. Therefore, the acoustic effect of a room is quite subtle and you can use your own effects for further processing. However, you can also use the built-in convolutional reverb.
