Description : Autodafe OSCar is the reconstruction of the famous OSC (Oxford Synthesizer Company) OSCar for the Kontakt sampler based on real OSCar samples.
The OSCar tool appeared from Autodafe’s own collection of analog synthesizers. 35 sounds were sampled from the original presets in the OSCar memory. The Kontakt tool contains a total of 91 patches.
Our goal was not to 100% repeat the OSCar, but to catch its sound, to transfer its controls and its characteristics, adding unique functions that are possible only in the digital world.
The Autodafe OSCar is equipped with an advanced arpeggiator, which was quite simple on the original OSCar. Our instrument also has the mode Chord Mode, Glide, Mono Mode and Unison. The original OSCar was able to play “Duo” (duophonic) and had Glide controls, with different types and times.
It was also reproduced, filled with a pen and a cluttered interface of the original OSCar.
