Improve your mix!
With over 90 professional audio system and consumer device models,
a new graphical style, and a practical analytics section,
MixChecker Ultra is the next step in the evolution of your reference mix testing system.Description and capabilities
Create a stunning mix with
Ultra-Realistic Device Simulators
Choose from over 90 simulators of the most famous and popular audio devices. Including modern consumer devices
such as laptops, phones or headphones. Try out the sound characteristics of standard studio monitors and headphones.
Check how your mix plays in cars, club headphones or small Bluetooth speakers.
You also have the opportunity to test your mixes in real noisy environments such as the subway, busy streets, shopping malls and more.
IR Loader
With MixChecker Ultra you can import your own impulse responses.
You can check how your mix will sound in popular acoustic rooms,
your friend’s studio or even a cathedral. (Standard WAV IR files are supported)
Advanced device control
To better understand how your mix plays on devices, simply change the settings for each device.
Adjust the volume of each device independently or set up a basic stereo system to simulate
it to better match real-world conditions. Our engine also takes into account the non-linear behavior of devices
and simulates their distortion. You can easily turn on the distortion feature and see
if your mix is clipped or distorted on selected devices.
Dive into your mix
Improve the quality of your mix with MixChecker Ultra’s analytical tools.
Quickly assess key track parameters with the loudness meter, dynamic range meter, spectral analysis,
stereo analysis, and goniometer. Compare your track’s values with a reference track using the included player module.
Choose from 6 different modules
Each module can be selected independently from the selection window. You can also expand each module into a larger window
to see more detailed information about the analysis.
The most important parameters for your mix
Volume
Check the volume of your track and easily understand whether you are exceeding the set threshold.
The volume module includes presets for the most popular streaming services,
which set the threshold to their level and help you determine whether your track meets their criteria
Dynamics
Check the dynamic range of your track to quickly see the difference between the loudest and quietest sections.
(The value displayed is PSR (peak-to-short-term ratio) – the difference between the short-term loudness
and the maximum true peak value, measured over a three-second interval.)
Spectrum
Quickly view the frequency spectrum analysis of your track and compare it to a reference track.
This gives you a quick overview of what frequencies you need to focus on to improve your track.
Gonio
View the stereo image of your track and compare how balanced your mix is.
With this module, you can also easily spot errors in your track,
such as an inverted signal, a completely monophonic signal, or one that is slightly tilted to one side.
Stereo
Find out how busy the frequencies in your mix are in the stereo field. You can then determine
if some important frequencies are only present on one side of the spectrum.
Player
This is the main module of MixChecker Ultra. You can import a reference track that you like
and quickly compare your track to the reference in each module. This speeds up your workflow
and helps you identify areas for improvement in your mixing. (Supports WAV and MP3 formats)
R2R INFO
The witch says,
* * Our release uses fewer resources, especially when running multiple instances of the plugin.
It also fixes a minor issue with the Audified license across threads.
* * The plugin has a built-in Lexa Activator emulator that returns valid license information to the software
and manages the callback system. This also avoids writing incorrect data to the registry (LexActivator bug).
After Audified abandoned PACE/iLok in 2022, they started using a licensing service called “Cryptlex”
and its SDK “LexActivator” to use the service. Here’s our work to fix a bug with LexActivator and Audified
that prevents it from syncing with the license server periodically.
