When we started working on the Master Solo Strings, our initial thoughts were to release a solo violin, as, of course, the most prominent instrument. Later we decided that it would be ideal to concentrate and start with a carefully sampled viola.
The violin has a wonderful sound – no doubt, but consider adding an extra special color to your music, adding a solo viola – a warmer / easier and deeper sound to which listeners are less used and will be pleasantly surprised.
The instrument is carefully sampled with several legato modes on different dynamic layers, crossfaders with MIDI CC1 (mod wheel).
The tool contains four legato modes, normal legato with and without vibrato, and portamento with and without vibrato.
