Description: Prometheus for Repro-1 offers a wide selection of presets, including both vintage and modern sound. The bank is based on over 65 sequences and 120 single shots. Since these sequences and sounds are included individually, you can mix and match sequences with different sounds, or just use the sequence presets as they are. This gives you not only inspiring sounds to work with, but fresh musical ideas as well.
The Repro-1 has excellent filters and powerful oscillators, making it ideal for bass lines, arpeggios, and musical monophonic sequences, but you’ll also find some kinematic sounds and, thanks to some software trick, even some polyphonic pads.
Any of the sounds can of course be sequenced off and used like regular patches, bass, leads, atmospheres, and monophonic pads, giving you a full 120 sounds to work with, all tagged for use in the U-he browser system.
Patches have Modwheel functions where possible and velocities where appropriate. The effects section contains: Reverb and Chorus, which boost atmospheric patches even more, while subtle distortion and EQ are used judiciously on dry and powerful patches such as bass.
