The RS124 Compressor Plug-In developed by the engineers of the legendary London studio “Abbey Road”. This plugin with exceptional reliability simulates the “classical” sound, characteristic for all albums that were recorded in “Abbey Road” and produced by the EMI record company in the 60s. The sound of “EMI” largely owes its origin to the analogue equalizers RS127 and RS135, the circuitry of which in due time was developed and embodied in hardware by the technical staff of the studio.
The need for the development of such external devices arose due to the limited possibilities for frequency correction on the REDD consoles that were used in Abbey Road in those legendary years. Of course, both equalizers were intensively used during the recording of all popular bands of that period, including they formed the sound of all The Beatles albums. Thanks to physical modeling, it was possible to fully reproduce all the characteristics of analog circuits.
