Description
Melodyne gives you unparalleled access to all the musical details in your recordings and samples – note by note.
This is made possible through sophisticated analysis that digs deep into your recordings and samples,
recognizing and understanding the musical relationships within them: individual notes and their characteristics, scales, clefs and chords,
time, tempo, tone color. And with Melodyne you can edit all of these things intuitively.
Not only vocals, but also all types of instruments, including polyphonic instruments such as piano and guitar.Peculiarities
Pitch and time correction program with full polyphonic tuning via DNA (direct access to notes).
The Fade Tool creates note-based fades – even in polyphonic recordings.
The melodic algorithm edits pitch and noise-like components separately.
Musically weighted pitch analysis provides psychoacoustic intonation correction.
The Sibilant Tool allows you to adjust note-by-note volume between pitched and non-pitched vocal sounds.
Leveling Macro minimizes volume differences between notes.
Chord Track harmonizes notes and extracts chords from audio.
Percussive Pitched algorithm for instruments such as tabla, berimbau and 808 kick drums.
Recall search functions for keyboard shortcuts.
Multi-track note editing allows you to work with multiple tracks at the same time.
Easy to operate and consistent with the work practices of musicians and recording engineers.
Context-sensitive tools, logically laid out menus, and intuitive arrangement and editing windows.
Easy to use, logical layout makes navigation very easy.
Works standalone or as a plug-in in your DAW.
The ARA interface provides full integration with your selected DAWs.
Changelog v5.4.0 :
The update to version 5.4 contains improvements and bug fixes, so we recommend it to all users.
Pro Tools and Cubase with ARA: There were occasional crashes when opening a project with Melodyne.
Pro Tools with ARA: Removing a clip from a stereo track using Melodyne ARA during playback sometimes caused a crash.
All Windows versions: If the connection to the Celemony server was not connected correctly, it would sometimes crash.
Studio One with ARA: Crashes sometimes occurred when using the Fade Tool or closing a session.
ARA: Opening a second tab after opening the Sound Editor would sometimes result in either a blank UI or a crash.
Offline implementation: On macOS, calling the Undo function during a copy operation would sometimes cause a crash.
Standalone Implementation: Melodyne sometimes crashed when activating.
Standalone implementation: The Save and Replace Audio command would sometimes crash if the audio file being edited was simultaneously being used and played back in a DAW.
Melodyne trial: Interrupting activation under Windows sometimes caused a crash.
All versions: In the Japanese UI, the note assignment mode was displaying the wrong localization for “Sibilant Handling”.
ARA: ARA mode is now also displayed correctly in the About Melodyne window.
Standalone Implementation: Enabling the Record Enable feature via the Track View in the Sheet Music Editor had no effect on the Track Panel, where the Record Enable button remained greyed out.
