DESERT’s sounds were inspired by contemporary cinema and music, especially the latest films by Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve. Thus, these Serum presets also reflect the themes of these films: science fiction, artificial intelligence, cyberpunk, dystopia, technological progress and time manipulation.
As suggested above, this patch bank is designed for creating innovative cinematic soundtracks, but like all my packs, it is also very flexible stylistically and can be used for a variety of genres such as Electronica & IDM, Cyberpunk & Synthwave, EDM, Trap, Drum & Bass and more. In addition to modern soundtracks, this pack was heavily influenced by the Cyberpunk sound/genre.
