Description: Distant Bliss & Chill Hop explores the soft vibes of instrumental hip-hop, chill beats and sunset samples. Lofi’s gentle melody merges with dusty pauses, rich synthesizers and acoustic guitars.
Original delightful compositions and motifs have been resampled, sliced and layered to create glowing textures and motifs. We recorded vintage pianos, classic synthesizers, intimate vocals, live instruments and synthetic sound design, and then experimented with lof sampling and processing techniques, including hardware emulation, beat grinders, tape recorder and hauling.
Explore a character-driven drum kit consisting of single shots and loops. Vintage machine drums and resampled live hits include power kicks, shiny snares, metal percussion and shuffling hats. Imbued with exquisite saturation and low-res vibrations. Loops include classic non-quantized beats and future loopy forward beats.
Created in collaboration with lofi hip-hop artist and beatmaker Mark aka misc.inc. From his studio in Dresden, Germany, he combines soulful chords with organic sound design and boom bap rhythmic grooves to create stories and feelings.
