Dubstep is the thriving world of EDM. Dubstep is a complex genre of electronic dance music, more specifically EDM, that originated in South London, England. Its first appearance was in the late 1990s as a development in a line of related styles in the EDM classification. It is mixed with 2-Step Garage, Dub, Techno, Drum and Bass, Broken Beat, Jungle and Reggae. The rise of Dubstep began in 2012 when Skrillex made its big break in the industry. Skrillex, or Sonny Moore, has been a crazy inspiration in the Dubstep scene, with hundreds of artists showing up quickly. These artists have drawn inspiration from Sonny and many other stage producers and have been constantly changing the sound of the genre over the last 5+ years. Dubstep has had a huge impact on the EDM industry and we hope this pack will help continue that legacy.
