This is a surprisingly big instrument, with its full-sized keys and inbuilt rhythms, and onboard speaker. !) rhythm fills. If you want to make it so you can, it’s knee, but … whatever. It sounded neat, kinda.
There are some variations on the board that can be used to make it. woodwind, and even what Casio is optimistically called “wah brass”. So what does all that add up to?
The answer is a real slice of nostalgia. The sound of the peace of the late 70s is definitely their comfort zone. It is a very nice way to have fun. You can get a passable punk transistor sound. Reggae gets you a lot of fun and a lot of ways to play it.
If you’re trying to get in touch with your baby, you can’t make it. ; there’s envelope control, of course; get your creativity going. There are also 65 rad factory patches in there.
